We have had a blessed summer with family & friends. I can not complain about anything.
We spent a good month with friend and family in MI and I remembered once again why I love it. We are always busy, constantly in the water and hanging out with my mom. I love the time to unwind, revive and look once again on why I love my girls and all they do. I call it a rejuvenation on all that I am, a refreshment of family and just existing for a while. I am in the comfort of my family and old friends (from high school days) and we all just sit and talk. Good old fashion fun and funny stories from our past come back to tickle our minds of what it was like before kids, families of our own and being care-free. I know those days are over, and glad for the most part; but the reminiscing allows me some playful recollection of days long gone.
John- Has changed companies, but remained in the same plant and is adjusting to changes quite well. He is looking forward to new management and possible new placement when it comes his way. He is such a bright man, I know whatever he tries he can succeed in. I know my oldest dd loves her daddy and so looks up to him. They are peas in a pod.
Kim- I have been busy preparing for school while teaching both private and public lessons for swimming! I love it, for now, it is my calling besides being a mother and wife. I enjoy the thrill of see another kid learn to swim, save him/herself and love the water as I do. God is good, I love all the opportunities to show a love for swimming and teach at the same time. I have had such a great group of students, they are the reason I continue to love the water. I am looking forward to a great year of field trips, theater and teaching my 2 beloved children. They are everything to me and I am grateful to have such loving daughter. I have been hanging with my friends and this has been a blessing to have such loving friends who care for the Lord as I do. My cup runs over with love & compassion.
Girls- Luna is doing so well, I am amazed every day with the new things she is learning and teaching others. I see such a pure soul, one with love for all and a heart the size of Texas, just looking for someone to care for. She shines wherever she goes and wants others to know that God loves us!! She did VBS with some older friends this summer and loved it, all!! She knows the songs by heart and learned a verse that will go with her everywhere (Psalm). She rehearsed it for one night and hasn't forget it from then. Luna wanted everyone else to know her verse as well and is willing to let others know her knowledge of bible when ever possible. She loves Sunday school and is looking forward to another year of homeschooling. She will be learning more 2-3 digit math, language sounds & 2-3 letter words. She will be working on writing and reading along with A drama class and art instruction outside the home. We are working on swimming lessons to improve her stroke and get her some exercise as well.
Rayne is growing so much and coming out of her cocoon, so to speak. She loves to be with her sister, they are truly best friends and she is learning to open up around others thru her sister. She will be working on numbers and letter sounds this year and wants to be "like big sister" and learn school. I love her compassion for others and the way she lights up a room just by singing her "Annie, Tommorrow" song!! She loves the water and says she can swim underwater with goggles. She likes singing and dancing, so we are signing her up for dance class! Our next ballerina, I guess.
Brownie is loving life in AL and she loves going for family walks at the park and around the neighborhood.
I hope everyone a gracious school yr filled with loving moments reflecting on life
Life is good and we are living it to the fullest, Kim, John & girls.
